As you move forward in your faith journey, we recommend taking the following steps in your daily life:
STUDY GOD'S WORD
We recommend downloading the free Bible app in the App Store. Once you've downloaded it, select 'plans' on the bottom of the screen and search "New Believer" and select the "First Steps for New Believers" study. This study will lead you in an 7-day journey designed to help you understand the decision you just made!
We also recommend buying a physical copy of a Bible. Here are a couple Amazon links of Bibles we recommend:

Reading the Bible helps us understand God, ourselves, and the life we are called to live.
PRAY
Prayer is simply talking to God. In prayer we thank God for who He is and what He has done for us, gain perspective, make our requests known, confess our sins, and ask for help and guidance (Matthew 6:9-13). A meaningful relationship is built on communication. Our relationship with God is no different. Prayer strengthens our relationship with God.
GET IN COMMUNITY WITH OTHER BELIEVERS
We encourage you to get involved in a local church that will encourage and equip you to follow Jesus (Hebrews 10:25)! One of the most important steps we can take in our faith journey is to be in community with other believers within the context of the local church!

Water Baptism is a very special and exciting step to take!
Being submersed under water symbolizes that our old life, defined by sin, is being put to death. When you are raised up out of the water it symbolizes that your new life, defined by what Jesus has done for you, has begun!

One of our core values at Stone is RELATIONSHIP. We want to grow in our relationship with God and with one another! Our LifeGroup ministry is how we accomplish that! LifeGroups are generally offered in the Fall and Spring.
We offer three types of LG’s: Sermon-based that usually meet every other week in a home, RightNow Media groups that work through a video study, and Activity Groups.

We believe that everything we have has been given to us by God. So, in an act of worship, we place God first in our finances. We give back a portion of what He has given to us. It’s called a ‘tithe.’
Your giving supports the various ministries of Stone as well as missionaries all over the world! Lives and eternities are changed through your giving! It’s also an important step in our faith journey because, “where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21).
